Information Design: What is?
Information Design is simply the design of anything providing information to the user. an example of this would b an instruction manual either hard or soft, that is, on the internet or print. The design is very important so that the user can easily find the information and then use it to do what they need to do, e.g. cook toast

information design: examples?
an example of an information designed product is almost anything. The face of a radio is an information design because it tells you which knobs are for the volume, frequency and mode of the radio, e.g. tape radio cassette. Another example would be an internet website that is showing information. The information must be clear so that the user can find what they need from it

Interactive Design: Examples of
Interactive design sounds like it is only for designers however, interactive design is in almost everything that we interact with. Examples include, the touch screen at the airports for buying a ticket, or withdrawing money from an ATM. The design has to think about what the user is going to select based on what is on the screen. The designer has to make sure the selections are all visible and easy for the user. In the atm for example it is in clear labels that the user simply clicks on, such as, withdrawal, $10,$20,$30 etc. the atm programme continues through a pre-designed interface independent of what the user chooses. However thanks to the design, the user is easily navigated through the many options.

Examples of Web 2.0.... What is it?
Web 2.0 examples are right throughout the Internet. They comprise most of the everyday common websites or web applications used by almost everyone.
An example would be google.com.
This searches through websites all across the web looking for the keywords typed into the search engine. Before this more simple search engines such as altavista. Another example would be Wikipedia. This replaces the other online encyclopedias where it is one main publisher entering the information. Wikipedia allows users all over the world to input their own information to the site which in turn makes it grow at a tremendous speed, constantly updated. Finally another example would be mp3 websites. Before these during the web 1.0 era, people would be paying the big companies to either simply by the cd or download the mp3 at a slow rate. Now, people add the files themselves and are free to download, along with the websites, programmes such as , in the early days, napster, lime wire and other p2p programmes allow users to again simply share the files with one another for free. This is an example of web 2.0 becuase survival has to do with the users and not the main business owners.
Web 2.0: What is it?
Web 2.0 is the new way that users use the internet. The aplications or websites are more user based rather than creator based. They are easily edited by the user for customisation and/or control. It has appeared in the last decade and has dramatically afected the way that users use the internet and also helps with everyday activities in "the real world" such as organisation , e.g. facebook invitations for parties.

Interactive Design: What is?
Interactive Design is the design and/or creation of anything that interacts between the device and the user, such as a website and a person. The design is very important in not only its functionality but also in its asthetic features so that it performs the task well. Another key factor is making it easy and clear how to the task is performed, and also ensuring that the design is pleasing to the eye.
